Using Draw Dawg

These terms are an agreement between you and DRAW DAWG LLC, a Florida limited liability company. By using the Draw Dawg app or website, you agree to them. You must be of legal age to play the lottery where you live.

What Draw Dawg is, and isn’t

Draw Dawg is an information service that checks lottery tickets you add against published results and lets you know how they did. We don’t sell lottery tickets, accept wagers, hold or pay prizes, or represent any lottery. Draw Dawg is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any state lottery, the Multi-State Lottery Association, Powerball, Mega Millions, Millionaire for Life or Lotto America.

Always confirm your wins

We work hard to be accurate, but results can arrive late, contain errors, or be read incorrectly from a photo, and prize amounts can change after a drawing. The official lottery’s results and its decision on any ticket are final. Before you throw a ticket away or rely on a result, confirm it with your official lottery or a licensed retailer. Claim deadlines shown in the app are estimates; check the deadline with your lottery.

Your tickets

Keep your physical ticket. Only the paper ticket can be used to claim a prize. You’re responsible for checking that the numbers and dates you scan or type are correct.

Pools

• Pools are arrangements between their members. Draw Dawg provides tools to organize a pool, show its tickets and work out how winnings divide. Draw Dawg is not a party to any pool, doesn’t collect, hold, transfer or pay out money, and doesn’t guarantee that any member will pay another.
• Shares are calculations, not promises. Shares shown in the app follow the settings the pool’s organizer chose and the agreement members accepted. They’re provided for convenience. Members are responsible for their own agreement and for settling up with each other.
• Whoever holds a winning ticket claims it. Only the paper ticket can be claimed, and only by its holder under the lottery’s rules. That person is responsible for claiming the prize and paying each member’s share as the pool agreed.
• Taxes. Prize winnings may be taxable. Information in the app about tax forms, such as IRS Form 5754 for shared winnings, is general information, not tax or legal advice. Check with a tax professional.
• Real tickets only. Add only real tickets you hold to a pool. Pool tickets must come from a camera scan of the paper ticket. Don’t add tickets you don’t have, alter a scanned ticket’s numbers, or misrepresent a ticket to other members.
• Be decent. Pool names, member names and photo stamps must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, or someone else’s image or logo used without permission. Organizers can remove members and tickets, and we may remove content, pools or users that break these terms.

Draw Dawg Golden

• Golden is an optional subscription, billed through Apple (or Google on Android) at the price shown before you buy.
• A free trial, when offered, turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime in your phone’s subscription settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• We may change Golden’s features or price; a price change applies only from your next renewal, and you’ll be notified first.

Fair use

Don’t misuse Draw Dawg: no reverse engineering, overloading our service, scraping it, sending fake tickets or reports, or using it for anything unlawful. We may limit or end access for anyone who does.

Our content

The Draw Dawg name, logo, mascot, app and website are owned by DRAW DAWG LLC. Lottery game names belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the games. You keep ownership of the photo or logo you use as your stamp, and give us permission to store it and show it to members of your pools.

No warranty

Draw Dawg is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that share calculations will match any agreement between pool members.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, DRAW DAWG LLC isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses; for any loss arising from a missed, late or incorrect result, alert, share calculation or claim deadline, including an unclaimed or expired prize; or for any dispute between pool members, including a member’s failure to pay a share. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use Draw Dawg means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
